Creative Projects – Exploring Musical Theater (5th - 8th grade)
Welcome new Music Faculty member Laura Backley into the AI family! Laura brings extensive Musical Theater knowledge to the table and will spend a week with students exploring it all! This program will take place on FA campus and culminate with a trip into NYC for a night at the theater.
Young Artist's Program (Kindergarten - 8th grade)
In this three-week program, students entering Kindergarten through 8th grade explore a variety of workshops from visual and performing arts to music and culminates in a final festival of original pieces.
Creative Projects: NYC (9th - 12th grade)
Explore New York City through the eyes of an emerging artist. Alumni and AI All-Star Chris McCann will be leading the group through 9 days of adventures in New York City, with pop-ins from Tracey, Kimo, and other AI favorites. Drawing inspiration from all the legendary New York City Days that The Artist Institute is known for, every day will be an adventure. We will explore the city and all it has to offer. An optional third week is included in the tuition, which will take place back on the FA campus. Students will have the chance to receive leadership training through the AI Intern Training Program.
