Topic: Eating Disorders & Body Image: Linking Fad Dieting with Eating Disorders
“Mom, I’m doing the protein only, no-carb, diuretic, grapefruit, flat belly, diet. I read about it online.”

Can you encourage healthier relationships with food in your own family and discourage disordered eating? Our webinar experts explicate eating for optimum teen health and recognizing disordered eating patterns.
Please take the opportunity to view the Webinar (http://fa.campusoutreachservices.com/bodyimage.html) on the FA website and consider the following questions that will serve as the basis for our discussion on Friday:
- What information from the webinar was particularly interesting, surprising or helpful?
- How did the webinar affect ways of thinking about body image and eating disorders?
- What strategies shared during the webinar seem easiest to implement and why?
- What strategies seem most difficult to implement and why?
