Fall Fair and Homecoming
The Fall Fair and Homecoming weekend is the festive highlight of the fall, beginning on Friday with a family cookout and bonfire and continuing on Saturday with a wonderful fair. It is an opportunity for the entire school community to get involved and to insure the success of this fun-filled family event.

Book Fair and the Wind in the Willows Café
The Book Fair is an event which allows the entire Friends Academy Community to have the opportunity to purchase books. The Wind in the Willows Café offers snacks and refreshments for sale at the Book Fair.

Golf and Tennis Open & Dinner/Auction
The Golf and Tennis Open & Dinner/Auction is an all-day event where parents, alumni parents, alumni, faculty, staff, trustees and friends are invited to participate in athletic events during the day, followed by a dinner and auction in the evening.

Plant Sale
The Plant Sale provides the perfect opportunity to plan for flower and vegetable gardens. A variety of annuals in hanging baskets, pots and flats can be purchased the days of the plant sale.

Lower School Winter Games
The Winter Games are a great day for families to get together. Winter Games are being held in February this year. Indoor games are held at the Field House and may include basketball, gymnastics, face painting, etc.

Grandparents and Special Friends Day
This event gives grandparents or "special friends" a chance to visit the school, and it gives the students a chance to beam with pride as they share their school with visitors.

Inter-School Exchange (ISE)
Friends Academy joins five local independent schools to form the Inter-School Exchange. It is a joint effort to establish a network to link resources as well as different groups within each school. The students participate in activities such as Chess and Scrabble Tournaments.

Middle School Arts Celebration
Each year, in a break from the traditional routine, the Middle School comes together as a whole community for the Middle School Arts Celebration. Students have the opportunity to choose between participating in the Middle School Play or engaging in a series of Art Workshops presented by guest artists and Friends Academy Faculty. Workshops range from clay-mation to slam poetry to stand-up comedy, and are a wonderful supplement to the everyday arts curricula.
Middle School Production
The Middle School theater production has a long and rich history. The play is often an original piece created by our faculty. In the past ten years the themes have ranged from an exploration of Rites of Passage to a study of the musical genre through our production of Seussical, The Musical, a recent Broadway show.
Upper School Productions
Each season we have two major productions. One is a comedy or drama by a well-known playwright (every other year, this is a piece by Shakespeare). The other production is a musical. This is usually a big show, chosen from the full range of classic and traditional pieces and modern repertory.
Originalworks
Every year, Originalworks provides students, faculty and parents the opportunity to write, direct, choreograph, compose, and then produce their own piece as a part of an evening of original performance. It is a production cherished by the whole community.

The Junior Prom is held in the Commons at Friends Academy.

An opportunity for seniors to share a final memorable evening with classmates and their "Last Dance" at Friends Academy.

Senior Brunch
Graduating seniors, their parents, the faculty and staff, and administration are invited to this last get-together before graduation, traditionally coordinated by parents of the graduating class. Graduates are given "goody bags" as gifts from Parent Council.
