Recycle Your Holiday Tree
Saturday, January 10, 9:00AM - 12:00PM at Morgan Park
With the help of the City of Glen Cove, the FA community can participate in the Glen Cove "Chip-a-Tree Program," regardless of residency. Those delivering trees for recycling will receive coupons redeemable for free saplings in the spring (while supplies last).

DIRECTIONS TO MORGAN PARK:  From the Glen Cove Fire House, turn right onto Brewster Street. At first light, make a left onto Mill Hill Road (take the fork going uphill). At the top of the hill bear left onto a street called The Place. Make the third left onto McLoughlin Street (you will see a sign for Morgan Park there). Follow McLoughlin Street almost to the end, and make a right onto Germaine Street. The entrance to the parking lot will be on the left.

Soles 4 Souls: Collecting lightly used shoes
Collection bins in LS, MS and Frost Hall Lobbies
The Middle School Environmental Club is collecting shoes for Soles 4 Souls, an organization that distributes shoes to people in need at a rate of about about 3,000 shoes per day. Reusing and recycling shoes also helps the environment. We are collecting lightly used shoes for Soles 4 Souls. Pairs of shoes must be tied or rubber banded together; please also include at least one dollar in every pair of shoes to cover shipping costs. For more information please contact MS Science teacher Dan Kriesberg.

Questions? Please contact us at community_service@fa.org for more information.
