STUDENTS IN THE Upper School Band program study a variety of repertoire, ranging from classical band music to Broadway melodies to holiday music. Students work as a large ensemble and in small group sectionals, focusing on sight reading skills, rhythmic studies, and technical proficiency. Participation in the band program provides an outlet for individual creativity and expression while reinforcing the importance of the individual's contribution to the ensemble.
