Best Memory at FA: Being the master of ceremony for Peace Week. Peace Week is a one week event that happens every year and is dedicated to the topic of peace and reaching out to the community around us.

Favorite thing to do at FA: Eat! There are always incredible food choices.

Why Friends Academy: Friends Academy has given me the opportunity to establish strong bonds to my teachers and pursue my love of learning.

Best Memory at FA: My favorite memories at FA include being a part of the school musical, meeting new people and Fall Fair.

Favorite thing to do at FA: My favorite thing to do at FA is rehearse for the fall musical. I also love lunch and frees where I get to spend time with my friends.

Why Friends Academy? I chose to come to Friends Academy because it was the best fit for me. I love the classes - they are interesting and small. In addition, I love all of the fantastic art programs at Friends.

Best Memory at FA: Winning Conference Champions for two consecutive Varsity Golf seasons during my Freshman and Sophomore years.

Favorite thing to do at FA: Laughing with my friends, playing golf, participating in community service at the Boys and Girls Club and working with my teachers.

Why Friends Academy? The community here at Friends is unlike any other school, making everyone feel welcomed and that they have a place. Teachers and coaches truly have your best interest at heart and always want you to do well. Teachers make an effort in getting to know their students and help whenever students need extra help. Friends provides a safe environment for students to be themselves, without the risk of criticism. Friends provides opportunities that allows students to branch out and partake in new experiences. I know the friendships, memories and experiences I have had here will last a lifetime.

Why Friends Academy: Friends Academy is a nurturing environment where you have an opportunity to explore an array of interesting subjects. The small classes allow you to build close relationships with your teachers which is very unique to Friends. As a student at Friends Academy, you are immediately welcomed into a true community filled with enthusiastic teachers and supportive peers from not only your own grade, but those older and younger than you. I love FA because I am able to participate in wide variety of classes and electives that I’m interested in. Everyone at FA is free to express themselves which creates a diverse community that can’t be matched.

Why Friends Academy: Coming from a large public school, Friends Academy was the complete opposite of the academic environment I was used to. As soon as I walked into a lower school classroom on my first tour, I knew I wanted to go to Friends. The class I had walked into was interactive, exciting, and close knit- very different from my 5th grade class of thirty students at my public school. The experiences that one gains from Friends Academy is unlike those of any other school. The teachers genuinely care about your development and are always there to help.
