THE MISSION OF the College Counseling Office is to guide students to finding a school that is the best fit. While for some this fit is immediately known and articulated, for others it comes gradually, and still for others they must grow into it. Regardless of the case, situation, or circumstance, in the end, we are committed to providing choices that reflect the realities of the college process, as well as the genuine possibilities to expect when selecting the path students want to follow.

Our goal is to promote an atmosphere where students feel secure and supported to make the best decisions. In doing so, we are committed to adhering to the Quaker principles that frame all of our lives as members, who by our very presence, have agreed to be a part of the Friends Academy community. We are preparing students for college, but, more importantly, we underscore the aim of an education that has consistently prepared them for the place they will take in society as citizens who will make a difference in the world.
