THE GRADE TWO Team consists of two teachers who work together to plan and implement the Grade Two program. The Program integrates language skills, mathematics, social studies, music and art in order to enrich and maximize learning experiences. Through these experiences and the idea of the children, we develop positive, thoughtful attitudes toward the learning process. Our program focuses on helping students and teachers make connections for learning, vital links that unite all aspects of the curriculum. Quaker beliefs permeate daily life with an emphasis on the discovery of each student's unique gifts. The Quaker tenets of simplicity, moderation, equality, resolution of conflict through nonviolent means, community service, and shared decision-making are interwoven throughout the Grade Two curriculum.
