IN THE EARLY Childhood Program, teachers and parents work together as partners for the benefit of each child's individual development. Our goal is to promote self-confidence, positive attitudes towards school and receptivity to learning. We are a child-centered program and believe that children learn best through play. Play promotes social, emotional, and cognitive growth. The teachers act as guides, providing plenty of opportunity for self-discovery, and allowing students to explore their environment at their own pace. In EC, the Letterland literacy program is formally introduced. This program connects each letter's shape and sound to a character. We also investigate several themes throughout the year, such as Transportation, Folk Tales and Farm and Garden.
