By providing them with weekly hands-on computer lessons, students will:

Become familiar with technology related vocabulary
- Have an understanding of the Windows Operating System
- Gain a working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint.
- Incorporate various peripherals (scanner, digital camera) to enhance (without distraction) their multimedia projects.
Keyboarding skills will be developed and sustained mainly by practicing at home. Keyboarding will be assessed periodically. A weekly Keyboarding Journal will be kept throughout the year.
